Track your local Google Maps rankings

Check local search positions across a geographic grid. A single search on your phone cannot show the whole market. Review saved results, scan limits and account requirements before deciding what to investigate.

What it does

Check local search positions across a geographic grid. One search on your phone cannot show the whole market.

You might appear near the top of results close to your shop and disappear a few miles away. Mapping the observed positions helps you see those gaps.

What the workspace includes

Keyword-specific map views with measured positions

Historical scans when saved observations exist

Competitor appearances at measured locations

Clear distinctions between ranked, outside-depth, failed, and unmeasured points

Map rank tracker with sample location-by-location results
Existing ranking demo with fictional observations. Map positions are not customer outcomes or ranking promises.

Who it fits

Location-based businesses with a verified Google listing

Owners comparing visibility for distinct services and nearby areas

When another solution may fit better

National rank tracking or continuous real-time monitoring

Anyone expecting a ranking guarantee from a scan

How you would use it

Choose the right service: Use a search phrase a local customer would actually type.

Read the whole map: Check the locations and collection date, including points with no usable result.

Compare like with like: Review the same keyword and grid in a later scan before calling a movement a trend.

Data, connections, and automation

Uses configured business identity, map coordinates, keyword choices, and stored search-provider observations. Connected Search Console and Business Profile performance are separate sources, not interchangeable with map positions.

Scheduled scans depend on account settings, service availability, and collection limits. Opening a saved map does not itself collect a new paid scan.

Cost and eligibility

This tool has no additional software charge when it is listed as included in your eligible BlueFinch merchant package. Have BlueFinch confirm access, connected services and usage limits in writing. Payment processing and account-specific charges are separate.

For eligible U.S. BlueFinch merchant accounts with this tool enabled. A demo does not activate service or confirm your account’s access.

Availability: Location and scan setup required. Service area: Eligible businesses in the United States.

Local Falcon’s entry package lists $24.99 USD/month for 7,500 monthly credits, checked October 2, 2026. A 5 × 5 scan uses 25 credits before optional analysis; monthly credits expire. Compare locations, keywords, grid size and frequency with your BlueFinch allowance. The packages are not assumed equivalent.

Limits to know

Maps results vary by location, query, time, and Google’s systems.

An outside-depth result is not an exact position. An unmeasured point is not a failed ranking.

Scan frequency and keyword coverage are limited; confirm your package’s allowance.

Example workflow

A wrap shop compares “vehicle wraps” around its service area. It uses gaps to investigate relevant service pages and listing details, not to assume every missing position equals a lost sale.

Questions before you start

Does this improve my ranking automatically? No. It measures visibility and helps you decide what to investigate. Google determines rankings.

Is this the same as Search Console? No. A geographic ranking scan samples results for selected queries and locations. Search Console reports activity for your verified website.

How do I get this for my business? Ask your BlueFinch representative to confirm eligibility, included features, any extra charges, and setup requirements in writing. Existing customers can check their account; new customers can request a business review.
