What changed after the switch
The result gave Todd more room to leave the front desk and work on the business. In BlueFinch's assessment, the shop is doing much better now. The terminal was supplied at no charge, without an equipment lease, long-term contract, or cancellation fee. Account-specific monthly and other fees still apply. The 0% figure refers to the merchant credit-card processing rate on eligible configured transactions.
The numbers BlueFinch used
Before the change, the complete statement charges divided by settled card volume produced a 3.5% effective rate. During the first full month after launch, BlueFinch's private account review calculated more than $3,000 in net processing-cost reduction.
The exact statement periods, card volume, fee schedule, and statements are private. This result belongs to A+ Automotive. It does not predict another shop's result.
What came with the switch
BlueFinch supplied the pricing sign, staff setup support, and its proprietary review tools. A+ started at 4.0 on Yelp and 4.1 on Google. BlueFinch tracking later recorded both ratings in the upper-four-star range. That timing does not isolate the software as the only cause. Debit stayed on the account's normal disclosed pricing.
Evidence status
The business name, location, photograph, story, and publication are approved. BlueFinch calculated the account result from private records. Todd's direct quote and redacted statements are not published yet.
What the published result lets you compare
BlueFinch reports a prior 3.5% effective rate and more than $3,000 net saved in the first full month for A+ Automotive. The public case does not include exact statement dates, card volume or an itemized fee schedule. Use it to understand the approach, then compare your own statements rather than treating one shop’s result as your forecast.
