Wellness class booked-seat attendance comparison

Compare actual attended seats across two defined groups, not delivered messages.

Use the interactive tool without signing up. It runs in your browser: enter your numbers, save a comparison, download results or print a working copy. Your numbers are not sent to BlueFinch.

Illustrative example inputs

These starting values show how the math works. They are not industry averages, customer results or a quote.

Eligible booked seats in reminder group

Same appointment observation rule, not message count.

Reminder-group seats attended

Recorded check-ins under the rule.

48

Eligible booked comparison seats

Comparable class/session scope and observation rule.

60

Comparison-group seats attended

Actual attendance source, not replies.

Model assumptions

  • Define the seat/booking unit and observation period.
  • Use actual attendance, with one consistent cancellation/rescheduling rule.
  • Reminder delivery is a separate messaging event.
  • This descriptive comparison proves no causation, health outcome or statistical significance.

Read alongside these results

  • No reminder or booking is created.
  • Repeated visits are seat/booking outcomes here, not unique-customer retention.
  • An empty eligible group leaves its rate and comparison unavailable.

Your message service reports several reminder deliveries for each class booking. The owner wants the attended-seat count. Start with the booking record and real check-in outcome. Several reminders about one place do not create several places. A reply to a message does not establish class attendance, regardless of how the delivery report labels the interaction.

The tool above compares booked-seat attendance in two defined groups. Its starting counts are fictional. Enter authorized totals rather than names, contact details or health information. The calculator sends no reminder and changes no schedule. Its observed difference describes the entered groups, not proof a reminder caused attendance or improved any health outcome.

Review optional message service

Check actual activation and allowances.

Measure customer returns separately

A seat outcome is not a prepaid-sale or customer-level retention measure.

Build a wellness waitlist with an owner and an expiration rule

A name on a waitlist is not a confirmed place. Record the offer rule, next owner and actual booking evidence separately.

Wellness reminders: test time zones before sending

Define booked seats and observation dates

Define the unit before extracting totals. Here the unit is one eligible class booking or seat, not one unique customer across the whole period. A person attending several classes has separate booking outcomes under that rule. Use the same cancellation, rescheduling and observation method for both groups rather than shifting definitions after seeing the result.

Wait for the relevant class dates to pass before reporting attendance. A future booking is not an unattended seat. HubSpot documents task owners, due dates and associated records. Use equivalent fields to assign missing source checks, while actual booking and check-in events stay in the authorized schedule. A closed review task does not constitute attendance evidence.

Keep comparison conditions visible

Choose comparison classes whose conditions answer your question. Different times, capacity, instructors and customer mix might affect attendance. Record those limits with the source period. A simple rate comparison does not establish the reminder was the only difference. Investigate missing records before treating a group with incomplete check-ins as a reliable baseline for future campaigns.

NIST discusses comparing observed proportions and separate statistical questions. This tool displays shares and a signed percentage-point difference. It performs no hypothesis test and creates no randomized study. A large displayed gap does not prove statistical significance, causation or a dependable attendance forecast. Keep the result descriptive and preserve the actual group definitions.

Read the fictional attendance difference

The fictional reminder group has 60 eligible booked seats and 48 recorded attendances, an 80 percent share. The comparison group has 60 booked seats and 42 attendances, a 70 percent share. The difference is ten percentage points. These amounts demonstrate the tool and are not wellness-industry attendance benchmarks or measured BlueFinch customer outcomes.

Twelve reminder-group seats and 18 comparison seats lack recorded attendance under the rule. Inspect actual source statuses rather than assuming dissatisfaction or lost business. When an eligible group is empty, its rate and the comparison stay unavailable. Zero bookings do not establish zero attendance performance. A negative observed difference stays visible instead of becoming a savings claim.

Use actual service and outcome records

BlueFinch's loyalty service is an optional paid add-on with accepted terms, activation and message allowances. Customer permission and channel readiness apply. Texting needs the appropriate registration process. Confirm the actual enabled service before planning reminders. Software access does not guarantee delivery or attendance and does not connect every class-scheduling platform automatically for every merchant.

Download the comparison for the owner review. Preserve both cohort definitions, the observation period and source date beside the totals. Seats might be unattended even when reminders were delivered. Count customer-level returns in a separate report. A delivered reminder, booked seat, attended class and later return are different events and should not substitute for one another.
