A shared household does not automatically make a Pilates class pack transferable. Retrieve the accepted purchase terms and ask the authorized office role to review the proposed move. Record the original credits, approved transfer and receiving account separately. Your front desk needs a clear remaining balance without granting another person access to private records or treating transferred credits as a new package sale.

Retrieve the pack’s accepted transfer terms
Match the request to the original package, verified purchase and current usage record. Identify the accepted terms governing transfer, expiry and eligibility. This article does not determine a universal right to transfer prepaid classes or establish legal expiry rules. The actual agreement and requirements need their own review. Do not invent a household-sharing policy after the member asks to move a balance.
You will need to establish who in a shared household is authorized to make a transfer request and this must be recorded in your studio records. Shared phone numbers or contacts for family members will not establish that all of the individuals and their contacts have access to the original Purchaser’s account. You must keep commercial activity separate from contact details for other purposes and private health information etc. The wellness package terms review separates actual accepted obligations from a generic software expiry setting.
Trace credits separately from cash collections
Retrieve the original purchased credits, verified redemptions and reviewed adjustments. Determine the available population before recording a proposed transfer. A credit moved between accounts is not another card receipt, and a new receiving profile is not another paid package. Preserve the original purchase and usage history so bookkeeping can distinguish collection from later class use.
The transfer ledger records the source package reference, accepted terms version, verified available credits, receiving account reference, approved transfer decision, remaining source and receiving balances, and owner. Use internal codes and no private customer information. The tool does not move credits or determine entitlement. Filled fields document the review handoff, while the actual studio system establishes the posted result.
Count a fictional transfer without creating credits
Suppose for the purposes of illustration that the fictional ‘pack’ consisted of 10 credits. 4 of the credits had been used in verified redemptions. Therefore, 6 credits were available prior to any other change (reviewed adjustments etc). If 2 of those credits are transferred to an account with no prior credits, then the source account would still have 4 credits, and the receiver account would now have 2 credits. The combined remaining credits would be 6.
If the receiving account already has another balance, preserve that separate package reference and accepted terms. Do not merge credits with different reviewed restrictions and erase their origins. A transfer approval also does not automatically approve an extension or refund. Record each commercial change separately and ask the appropriate reviewer to determine the relevant treatment.
Verify the supported studio handoff
Transfer the approved transfer through the supported procedure for the actual platform. Verify both accounts have been updated properly and record the source reference. Note that just because a system supports linked accounts for booking purposes, that does not necessarily mean a booking platform supports transfer of Pilates class packs for a household sharing case. Test in a safe test environment and specify any step that is not supported by the system owner.
Explain the reviewed balances through the permitted private contact route. Keep each person’s message preferences separate rather than transferring the purchaser’s promotional permission to the receiver. Review recurring requests to improve the original pack terms explanation. Your owner needs one traceable package history and an accepted credit allocation, without duplicate revenue, invented household authority or a worksheet presented as automatic membership integration. The household contact-role review sheet keeps a transferred credit separate from another person’s message permission.
